About the Speaker:  Tom has been with the Lorain County Emergency Management Agency since October, 1990, when he was hired to fill the newly created position of Emergency Preparedness Coordinator.  The position is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the Lorain County Hazards and hazardous materials Emergency response plans.  He was appointed as director in 1995 and has a staff of four people.  Previously, Tom worked for 10 years in the Communications Division at the Lorain County Sheriff’s Department.
