What’s a “middle class” student, anyway?

Ironically enough, the same day this Thomas Sowell interview with David Horowitz came was published there was a debate on FNC between two women on the subject of too much testing in schools.

The woman who supported the too much testing position actually said (I paraphrase somewhat) that it was necessary to test so much for the benefit of “MIDDLE CLASS STUDENTS.”

What in the heck is a “middle class student?” I wish some pundit or another would challenge her on that. What a disparaging remark! Your academic marks are based on your economic status?

Their academic success is based on their “class” in America???????

Now, for your real edification, please enjoy Sowell’s interview, “Inequality.”
